DESIGN DIRECTOR DENISE MADERA JOINS ORIGIN

Houston—October 3, 2006—After eight years with Manhattan-based agency Inc. Design, serving most recently as the firm’s Assistant Creative Director, Denise Madera has returned to her hometown of Houston, Texas and joined Origin Design as Design Director.

Prior to joining Origin, Madera’s recent accomplishments include developing materials for ADP, Amerada Hess, Bearing Point and Tyco. Her work has been recognized in numerous publications, including Creativity, Print Magazine, The Big Book of Color in Design and The Little Book of Layouts. It has also received numerous awards, including Addys, American Graphic Design Awards, and International ARC Awards.

“Origin has experienced tremendous growth over the past year,” says Origin principal Jim Mousner. “So, we had been actively searching for a talented creative who would both fit our culture and simultaneously bring a unique perspective to our work. We found both in Denise and we feel very fortunate to have her here.”

Origin Design is a multidisciplinary marketing design firm headquartered in Houston, Texas. In just the last quarter, the firm’s staff of 20 has completed a wide variety of projects including, integrated rebranding programs for Time Warner Cable’s Business Solutions division and for the Halliburton subsidiary GeoGraphix, an annual alumni magazine for Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P., environmental signage for Congregation Emanu El, an interactive teaching CD for the reading impaired for Neuhaus, and a Web site overhaul for I/O.
