Houston—March 29, 2011— After earning gold Addys in the 2011 AAF-Houston Addy Awards, Origin’s work for Apache Corporation and Temple-Inland advanced to the American Advertising Federation’s District Ten show to compete against Addy winners from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.
Winning a District Ten Silver Addy, Apache’s Exploring What’s Possible: Egypt video is the first in a global series of regional profiles directed on location by Origin partner Jim Mousner. Made possible only through close collaboration with Apache Corporation and Apache Egypt, the video was written by Origin partner Shawn Collier, shot over four weeks in Cairo and across the Western Desert by Sean Michael Johnston, edited internally and scored by Chuck Payne. “Video continues to evolve as one of the most influential mediums available to companies as it dominates the internet landscape. The Egypt video reflects Origin’s ability to deliver a compelling cinematic piece under complex conditions,” said Jim Mousner. Since completing the Egypt video, Origin’s crew has journeyed on to Australia and Canada for similar assignments.
Winning a District Ten Bronze Addy, Temple-Inland’s A Form for Every Function rethinks the company’s previous capabilities brochure, speaking directly to specific industries and highlighting the sustainability story behind the company’s products.
